Julie has been a part of the Science North team since 1985, with most of her career spent in the Science Program Unit.

In 2006 Julie took on the new challenge of leading international sales as a part of Science North's work in developing and implementing visitor experiences for cultural attractions all over the world.

Formally trained as a biologist, Julie has a keen interest in the natural sciences, with a particular passion for her area of expertise, Entomology (the world of insects!).

Past roles at Science North have included Senior Scientist leading Education Initiatives, Project Manager for the F. Jean MacLeod Butterfly Gallery and Staff Scientist responsible for operations of the 2nd Level of the Science Center including the Nature Exchange, the Lapidary Lab and the Waterworks Area.
